Murals

For the past two years, I have had the privilege of being a teaching artist with Thrive Collective, an organization dedicated to restoring art education in NYC schools. I've worked on three murals with over 600 students in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. I'm currently available for mural commissions. Please contact me for more information.

"Welcome to Bay Ridge" mural at Fort Hamilton High School

Created around the theme of welcoming immigrants to the community, over 210 students from Fort Hamilton High School worked with me to create this two-part mural. It has been installed in the cafeteria of the school, where over 3500 students are served daily. More details and part 2 are here.

"I am NYC" mural at High School of Telecommunications, Arts, and Technology

This 650+ square foot mural was meant to "embrace the students with kindness and diversity" as they enter their school every day. Over 150 students, staff, and faculty helped create this multi-sectioned mural. Lots more details here.

"I am Brooklyn" mural at PS 127

At PS 127, we talked about what it means to welcome people in Brooklyn. Students in grades K-5 were invited to brainstorm, sketch, and paint the elements of the 136' long mural that can be seen in the school's courtyard. More photos are here.
